Paul has worked in insurance for over 30 years, with the last 20 in the property sector.

He was the manager of Zurich Insurance in the West End dealing with a whole range of property clients including Land
Securities, Threadneedle and Hermes.

As a Director and Founder of Arlington, his knowledge and relationships in insurer markets help to ensure that
Arlington maintains its very positive profile, highly beneficial to strategic insurer negotiations.
Paul is a Chartered Insurance Broker.


Andy Wright

Director

Andy joined the Arlington team in 2017, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in the Insurance Industry.

Previously he has led teams of commercial underwriters in some of the UK’s largest insurers, and, he now makes sure
that the Arlington team works to optimum operational practices.

Andy has a wide knowledge of the commercial insurance market, including Property, Liability, Motor, Professional
Indemnity and Engineering.  His background with underwriters means that Arlington maintains and enhances its strong
insurer relationships, which in turn ensures Arlington receives the very best service.


Nick Watts

Nick Watts

Along with Paul, Nick is a Founder of Arlington and has 18 years’ property insurance experience, acting for some of
Arlington’s largest clients including many overseas investors.

He has a wide knowledge of the commercial property market in the UK and Europe as well as experience in both
construction and environmental broking.

In addition to his involvement in both client relations and insurer negotiations, Nick has responsibility for
Arlington’s claims servicing strategy, liaising with insurers and loss adjusters to ensure the clients receive the
widest possible claims benefits.


Nikki Coglan

Nikki Coglan

Director

Nikki joined our team in 2009, bringing with her over 20 years property broking and underwriting insurance
experience.

Previously she led a specialist property investor underwriting team with a major UK insurer, which encompassed a
broad client base ranging from traditional ‘landed estate’ portfolios to multinational property funds.

In addition to her extensive involvement with client relations and insurer negotiations both in the UK and overseas,
Nikki has responsibility for all technical aspects, including our European broker network, our company compliance
and training.


Rachel Alderton

Rachel Alderton

Rachel joined the team in October 2013 as an apprentice providing valuable claims and general administration support
to the team. She now assists the Directors with Arlington’s major clients in addition to handling her own book of
business on which she is involved in the broking of renewals and mid-term adjustments as well as claims management
for clients.

She has developed her knowledge of Engineering, High Net Worth and Legal Indemnity insurances. She has achieved the
Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate in Insurance and is currently working towards the Diploma in
Insurance.


Louis Ransom

Louis Ransom

Louis joined the team in March 2015 as an apprentice to assist in providing essential general administration and
claims support to the team including the production of property schedules and other associated documentation for
clients. Since then Louis has achieved a firm understanding of real estate, office, engineering and personal
insurance and deals with his own book of business involving renewals, mid-term adjustments and claims management.

As part of his apprenticeship Louis has studied and obtained the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate in
Insurance and is now studying to achieve the Diploma in Insurance.


Tony Housden

Tony Housden

Tony joined Arlington in September 2016 from Zurich Insurance where he spent over 35 years as an underwriter and has
a wide knowledge of the commercial insurance market including property, casualty, accident, construction and
engineering.

For the last 10 years he was solely dealing with property owners underwriting and handled major portfolios and
schemes both for new and existing business and in addition dealt with technical referrals and staff training and
development.

His role at Arlington is to provide training and technical expertise, develop best practices and procedures, and to
ensure that our real estate proposition is current and meets the needs of the customer.


Verena Cole

Verena Cole

Verena joined Arlington in April 2015. She has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years and has held both
underwriting and broking roles in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Switzerland. The majority of Verena’s career has
been in Professional Indemnity Insurance, Directors and Officers, Malpractice and related classes, where she has
managed various schemes and binders, with an emphasis on construction professionals and accountants.

Prior to joining Arlington, Verena spent 2 years in a compliance role for a national broker. Her role at Arlington
includes technical support, insurer and client development, compliance reviews and claims handling.


Ciaran Dennis

Ciaran Dennis

Ciaran joined Arlington in October 2018 as an apprentice to assist in providing general administration support
including the production of policy schedules and other associated documentation for clients.

Since joining Ciaran has developed a greater understanding of claims servicing and ensures that all claims are
handled in a manner that exceeds client expectations and strives to provide a quality service and customer care
throughout the claim process.

Ciaran has worked and studied to obtain the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate and has achieved a Level
3 Insurance Practitioner Certificate. He is now currently studying to achieve the Diploma in Insurance.


Andrew Ravenscroft

Andrew Ravenscroft

Andrew joined Arlington in 2020 with 20 years property insurance experience across the diverse areas of real estate, private clients and reinsurance.

He has previously worked as an underwriter in both Lloyd’s and company insurance markets and has good knowledge of, and relationships in, both.

Andrew is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Broker.
